Teresa Glass, a single parent of two, joined Wabash in 1997 as an assembler. Through hard work and perseverance, she overcame multiple hurdles to land in the position she’s in now. Despite her belief that the chips were stacked against her, she’s persisted through numerous hardships, always grateful for the experience on the other side. Today, she’s setting an example for her children, teaching them the importance of self-sufficiency and perseverance, even in difficult times.

Nasratullah Wardag has been working in the manufacturing industry since 2020, but he only recently joined our Wabash community. Hailing from Afghanistan, he shares a compelling story of determination. Nasratullah faced adversity at an early age, fleeing to Pakistan during a period of war. Despite the challenges, he always maintained a positive outlook. His journey serves as a reminder that, no matter how challenging the circumstances may seem, you can always find opportunities for a better future.

Rhonda Yarbrough is a long-standing member of our Wabash community. She has been with the organization since 1997, even when her location was under a different parent company. Rhonda is someone with incredible tenacity, able to withstand the trials and tribulations thrown her way throughout her many years in the transportation industry. As someone who’s worked in a variety of departments, Rhonda’s journey is one of constant growth, compassion, and pride in what she does. She is a team player and someone who is constantly seeking ways to encourage the growth of others around her.

This year, Wabash National formally introduced the Wabash Management System (WMS)—a set of principles and standardized business processes to advance Wabash National’s strategy, breakthrough improvement and increased magnitude of results. These principles are centered around lean thinking and state that lean application must extend across and throughout our entire enterprise, not only our manufacturing processes.
